A stupid question: trailer plugs on new F150

New owner of a 2022 F150, the 2 trailer plugs are for a 7 flat and a 12 pin. What is the 12 round pin used for? And no more 4 plug?

Should be a description in the owners manual.

12 pin is for camera systems, typically for trailer cams.

7 pin can be easily adapted to 4 pin with a pop-in adapter for like $9 bucks so I guess they figured they'd save some wiring and space.

Thanks, I do have an adapter for the 7 to 4. Mainly wondered about the 12 round pin, and now I know! Thanks much!
