So I received an alert on my App today. This is what it said:
Congrats on the purchase of your 2022 Ford Super Duty® truck. We wanted to give you a heads-up that a few FordPass®App features are not yet available for your ride. They include remote start,* lock, unlock and Ford Power-Up software updates - our advanced over-the-air (OTA) technology. We're working diligently to bring these to you. Stay tuned, and we'll let you know just as soon as they are available.
So, it "looks" like they are working on something. I have been able to use the unlock/lock/remote start. But that has to be right after I drive it. Weird.
Did you have a vehicle on the app before, or was this a new install after July? Just brought home my 2022 F350 lariat, and have been getting the error. Got the same info from Ford direct, Software update is incoming October. I had a 2021 F250 used the app no issues until the change over to the new vehicle. Same engine etc. Ill just turn off alerts until the update sends, annoying none the less.
battery voltages start to drop daily due to system utilites and byb the end of the week will sit at 12.1/12.2 which is a low state of charge. after cranking voltages would be low to mid 13's until the batteries recharge. this killed my 1st set of batteries.
after replacing the stock batteries with next load rating up, I recently put a 15W solar panel on my dash and plugged it into the cig lighter socket inside my console....which seems to be powered with key off and alarm set.
still monitoring but looks promising. after start voltages are not low 14's.

Yes, I had it on my 2021 as well. Same engine/etc. Worked fine. I also have it on my company vehicle. That goes into sleep mode after 30 days or so if no one drives it. Yes, very frustrating to say the least.

I need to do this as well. I have solar on the roof of our camper and it keeps the batteries fully charged in the off season.
My 2022 F450 has this same problem. I noticed brand new batteries (< 10 miles on truck at the time) showed 12.45v. Did a 400 mile drive, no stops, wouldn't recharge. I'm swapping to Odyssey ODX-AGM65s.

there are some forscan pick offs for different batteries.

That's really interesting, and a simple solution. It doesn't take many watts to keep the battery "topped up" while you are sitting for extended periods.

So my cig lighter in my console is only powered with key on. Same with the one on the dash. Wonder if Farscan can change these? I would really like to use a portable solar panel to keep the batteries topped off.
The annoying part is now in addition to the error messages, Ford is now spamming FordPass with a notice they are working on it. I get more of those alerts thank the deep sleep errors now
I have this same deep sleep mode issue. Has anyone have the issue fixed by their dealer or was it an over air update? I thought this fixed was suppose to be available in October but my dealer has not heard anything or they havent called me yet to get it corrected.

I had a truck sitting in the shade next to a barn since July and sometime in August I got the deep sleep mode alert. My app updated sometime in October and then the truck I was currently driving had the alert after the update. I could pull down to refresh the app and the alert went away for the truck I was driving but not the truck I have parked.
I swapped trucks in October and I have a deep sleep mode alert everytime I open the app but I could pull down to refresh and make it go away.
It still takes forever for either truck to start/lock/unlock and sometimes I have to force stop the app 2 or 3 times to get it to work. I have a 5 or 6 year old Samsung phone and didn't know if this has anything to do with it but I dont have issues with any other apps that I can remember.
I did get a message in FordPass saying "I was selected for a special offer" that offer was a Ford credit card...
I've resorted to only opening FordPass to input my maintenance records. It's pretty useless for me beyond that.

Contact your dealer. Tell them you need update SSM51140. My dealer said I was up to date, I gave them that number, they searched it out. Took about 25 minutes to update but now it works. Every time I would open the drivers door it would register a "Deep Sleep" message. The update took care of the issue.
