These are the current angles. Have a 1" spacer on the Carrier bearing bracket.
Let me know if what I've read is accurate. First driveshaft segment out of transfer case is thought as an extension of the motor/trans/TC and should be the same angle as the TC. In my case, it's down 3.2*.
Reducing the Carrier bearing spacer to get that first joint close or to 0*?
Is 1* ok between the TC and rear yoke? **Just found a 1* Leaf Spring shim on Ebay**
I will still take the entire driveshaft to get balanced for peace of mind.
Yea, looks like I need to drop the rear pinion down 1" to match the transfer case yoke and raise the Carrier bearing to get it close to the 5.4*. And let the last two U Joints do all the angle work.
Here is the updated angles after reducing the spacer at the carrier bearing (since the way it is understood is the first section of the driveshaft out of the transfer case should be considered an extension of the TC) and getting the pinion angle to match the transfer case angle.
Im still off 0.5* on my rear pinion to match the TC... is that too much?
Are the two middle and rear U joint being off by 0.2* acceptable?
