Custom tune?
Hello, I need some clarification and support with custom tuning. I am looking to get a PHP chip for a NAW4 pcm in a 96 f250 with a zf6 swapped and an s2e/t04 turbo, I understand I can use Minotaur software to program tunes, but my issue is if I purcahse a php hydra chip I have been reading I cannot copy the tunes (as if it was a file) from the php chip to the computer to be able to edit/create a tune and reburn it with a burner. I would rather not buy an individual tune just for the sake of creating my own tune... I need to be able to play with a lot of variables so I can get this truck to run how I want and not have to send it to someone each time and cost time and money when I should be able to just do it myself..?
I see I can not download the hydraflash, and I would need that to flash the chip using a burner, correct? Is any of this software supported anymore?

Oh nice.... I assume it doesn't even come with the base calibration file at all.... just an empty tuner? The description acted like it had all these presets, unless it does have those and those are what cannot be edited like you said as they are encrypted so I would have to get JUST the base calibration file to edit that in 1/3 blank slots or whatever....?

I got Minotaur from the php/hydra site on their download section. I can "create" new project and have nothing to work with... I would figure I could at least start out with some empty forum as if I would writing any other programming language, such as c++, java, batch, python, html..... But like Bitterroot replied I will probably call php and see if they can answer any questions/do anything for me on this. I want to edit a factory 7.3 "tune" to make my own and learn from it.

Yes free from their site but I was reading around more and saw they said they would sell a lisence (its a demo, 5 trial runs...) along with calibration or project files, a bunch of stuff. I also saw there was in fact a demo project file or calibration file that I opened, for a gas motor it seems though.
Yeah I misread your post about editing existing files as they are encrypted (such as what comes on a standard php hydra chip) my bad.
