In my 97 EB, the CD changer cartridge is stuck in its place in the armrest. I've tried prying the 6pack out while hitting the eject button but nothing works. I'm not sure if its stuck or the eject motor is toast. I'd love to get it out and be able to use the CD again. TIA
The same thing happened to mine. I removed it and cleaned the dust and junk out of it. I found 5 CD's (previous owner) and 2 quarters. Works fine now. It's not hard to remove.
I have a 97 explorer where it said "NO" message on the dash board CD player. The CD changer is stuck so how. When I go in and move it around and it works again. I think something si bad about the 1997 CD changers. We need a survey to find out.

Did you ever get your CD fixed? I'm having the exact same problem. Thanks
I don't know how to fix it so all i do is take all the CDs out and put it back in hoping it works again. It usually breaks down after a week or two. Don't want to spend any money for a new one as I don't drive too often anyway.
