We are paying as low as $3.15/gallon here in N.E. TN. We still have our rig, but do debate keeping it. Biggest hangup is if we well it, what do we do next. Times are so crazy!
$5.799 for diesel here in NW Oregon. Some areas are less but I haven’t seen anything under 5.399 yet. And I’d have to make a 70 mile round trip to get it.
$3.93 per gallon around me. Was $5.39 per gallon at its highest this year.
Funny, only a two years ago it was $1.79 per gallon. Its hard to feel the joy of lower gas prices when its still double what it was under a better more responsible leader. My electric bill used to be $70-$80 per month, its now $110 per month and rates are set to go up 47%-52% for distribution by November from my suppliers.

Except for the summer months, my electric bill is about what OverheadCram is paying. I'm in a 2400 sq ft house. The catch is that I have gas appliances.

Gas and electric are through the roof here. I hear people complain about both sides, consider yourself lucky .

Regular 86 octane $3.06 with diesel at $4.43 here today. $1.30 difference. Glad my stuff works with regular pump gas.
Friend who works with military stuff said the Govt. did a (# 4 ??) revision or something on diesel specs, he works with big generators, maybe that's why the price hike.
So it will cost you diesel guys more and probably drop your MPG.
When I bought a pre def '06 Duramax in August '07 it was getting 22 mpg on the road. Then the def stuff happened, and I heard they refined sulfur out of diesel fuel and MPG dropped to 17/18.

The military doesn't purchase diesel it is all JP8 or JP5.

He said it was a spec change for fuel or equipment or something he commented on when we discussed the difference in price diesel vs gas. He didn't elaborate on just what it was or was for but did mention generators.

The equipment may have something different from the manufacturer but the military does not purchase or use diesel in anything. Every fuel point on every base has only three options jp8, jp5 or Mogas.
I did not know that, I will ask him when I see him next month at our monthly breakfast BS session when we discuss all the world's problems and come up with real world solutions.
It may be the manufacturer's specs as that is what he does, I think is spec stuff for military use.
Fuel prices going back up around here. Diesel is now reaching 5.899 at some stations here.

Gassed up the car on 09-30...XXXX gals @ 4.959 p/gal

Not sure how we got there, but we have been getting a 38¢ p/gallon discount. I know that 8 cents goes with the Good Sam discount. I do have the Pilot App and rewards program and that adds a 10¢ discount p/gallon, but I'm not going to complain if they want to give me 38¢ from non PUC prices. So, the prices listed above for PIlot-Flying J has to have .38¢ added to the listed price if you don't have those discounts.
