Lights aren’t working correctly

Hello all, project truck is nearing completion. I installed new tail lights (aftermarket LED) and new headlights. All new bulbs in the front and back end. Here is the problem. Headlights and front running lights work but the blinkers won’t blink. Replaced flasher and still no blink. Brake lights and reverse light works when the headlights are OFF. No rear running lights. Once I turn the headlights on I have nothing on the back end.
if I turn hazard lights on they all seem to work and flash. Any thoughts? I did put a new headlight switch in, but was a cheap one off rock auto.

thanks for sharing any thoughts. All of the grounds are good and fuses are good.

LED bulbs on the blinkers require an additional resistor to make them mimic the power usage of the old incandescent bulbs.

The tail lights came with built in resistors. Didn’t do anything special for the front except plug in the bulbs

Are the tail lights then NOT bulb-type ones? but a circuit board? I would check who you bought them from, look cheap. Unless they are literally at least enough to be a 1156 or whatever in power draw you should make sure by swapping old lights on the 2 rear to check
OR IF YOU HAVE A TRAILER with incandeescent, hook up, that load may normalise it

something is wrong with DS light. either tolerances were bad or the thing the headflight mounts on is broken (i had that)

Yes they’re the circuit board kind. They were like 125$ for the set (not cheap IMO) Came with a resistor that sits externally from the lights inside the box in the tail light housing.

thats not that expensive either , quality wise. brand?

See, you say it sits in the box. the resistor that would have the resitiing needed, would melt the housing. Unless multiple small ones

An electronic flasher should fix the signals, but you need resistors in the brake lights if all 3 are LED or the transmission will get upset.

the tail lights have built in resistors.

In summary:
hazard button pressed ALL lights work
hazard off and headlights off, brake lights work. Parking light and blinkers won’t work

headlights on, all front lights will turn on but blinkers won’t flash. brake lights don’t work at all (almost like they’re completely unplugged)

All fuses checked and rechecked, all good. Tried new standard flasher no help.
