Shouldn’t be an issue tuning it, but will most likely throw a code for the egr delete after tuning as the new tuners don’t allow it to be turned off. You’re check engine light may come on, or it may not. Some trucks show the light with that code, some don’t

What’s weird is my friend’s truck, which is a 2005, didn’t have the light come on when we removed his egr before tuning. My Excursion, also a 2005 but mostly like a 99-04 in terms of electronics, did show the light. 🤷♂️
