I have recently noticed a rattle coming from the rear. happens at all speeds over all terrain. i am unsure if it increases with speed, the wind noise obscures it.
it sounds like the noise a loose washer would make. it is not a snap or pop, not overly loud.
maybe brake caliper rattling on pins?
i am going to get under there and have a look at everything.
I have searched the forums, and don't find anything similar.
Has anybody had a similar noise and been able to correct it?
A coupler in your trailer hitch can produce a rattle. Recommend checking that first. Same thing if your spare tire is even slightly loose. In any case, your idea of crawling around under the truck is a good idea.
