Did not read all replies, but did anyone mention that selector switch and mess up and start putting some fuel into the other tank? Mine did and went to the point it was over filling itself.

This could also explain less than adequate economy numbers or of course if the axle ratio versus speedo is incorrect.

It was diesel from my white tank at my ranch and I dont know the exact time it was filled. I am proprobly going to end up draining it because it may have had red diesel in it fairly recently and I dont want a ticket for some bs. Thank you for the suggestion.

Im almost 100% sure I filled both tanks completly right before we started heading home. Thank you for the suggestion.

this is cause by a bad diverter valve in the intank gas pump on gas engine trucks.
i never heard of it happening on diesel trucks.

Mine did, took side tank and pumped into rear. I think it is in my build thread. Selector valve? Whatever it is called on the frame.

Yep, common on gassers too. I think the dual pump trucks are more prone.

seen a few posts on the broken shower head parts getting the valve spool to not moving all the way
