Radius Arm brackets not fitting right?

Hello, Once again I am having problems with installing this 6" skyjacker lift on my 77 F150. I just received the drop down radius arm brackets today. I pulled the stock ones off yesterday. Went to bolt up the new ones and the holes dont line up. Box says they are for 66-79 F150 4x4. After getting 2 bolts through this is what it looks like. As you can see there is a pretty big gap on the side and under part of the frame.

I thought maybe it has to do with the way I have my truck sitting on jack stands or something. Lined the stock brackets up and they would bolt right back on with no problem. Did I get the wrong brackets? Am I possibly doing something wrong? I even tried the drivers side bracket and its off a little to. Maybe not quite as bad but still off. Do I just need to drill all new holes? That doesnt seem like something that needs to be done.

Is it just me or does everyone run into problems while doing things? Nothing ever seems to go smoothly.

Thanks
