Good to hear Bone... I just fueled up yesterday. Diesel has dropped since I last fueled. With my car wash discount, I paid $5.55 (ok, actually 5.549 but who's counting). I feel for you poor *******s out there. But New York is no picnic compared to other states, but I do see it could be worse.
Believe it or not, the cheapest fuel I've found in a bit was in NY, and Lake George to boot! $5.09, right off 87 in L.G. In MA, the cheapest I've found is $5.19 and it's a bit of a drive to get there (fortunately, it's in a location I drive by anyways so I try to time my trips to fill up there). Fuel elsewhere around me seems to still be in the $5.50 range with some still pushing $6/gal. Usually MA is a fair bit cheaper on fuel than NY due to NYS taxes, no idea how that changed...

Good for you...
It just depends on where you live. California makes NY look like a good place to live.
Well here is a Ca. update on fuel. brace yourself. Cheapest is $6.19 most expensive is $7.55. The station I usually get it from is $6.89. I feel so special Regular gas is $5.61. I guess I'll drive the car today.
Keep in mind the state of California has more expensive fuel partially because the fuel is of higher quality due to California's fuel refining requirements.

LOL nope. It's more expensive because CA will only buy from sources that play the "low carbon footprint" game and CA is willing to pay more for it. It's a huge scam.
