Fuel

Well my truck has been sitting for about 3=4 weeks and I decided to drain a little fuel out to see if there was any water in the collector. I am happy to report that not a drop of water could I see. I have only drained it once since I have had the truck. Today is number 2 LOL I may get her out today for a drive but I only have a short drive so maybe not. Diesel is stupid high here around $6.22 to $7.19

Good to hear Bone... I just fueled up yesterday. Diesel has dropped since I last fueled. With my car wash discount, I paid $5.55 (ok, actually 5.549 but who's counting). I feel for you poor *******s out there. But New York is no picnic compared to other states, but I do see it could be worse.

My wife is holding me up. I keep saying when are we going to move. Have you ad enough yet. I am so full of this crap here. It's not just the fuel prices it's everything. No water homeless is out of control and they don't know what to do. We have this encampment in oakland that catches fire every week. Newsome wanted to move them but a judge said no because Newsome had no place to move them. What was a once beautiful state is now on fire or the homeless occupy it.

I feel for you Bone...

I'm sure it was once a beautiful and proud State. But that's what happens when progressive agendas take hold and turn everything to schitt. Hang tough buddy.

I think Don has it right.

Just to rub a little salt in a sore. I paid $4.99 today and then my Exxon/Mobile rewards knocked off another $9.00 on a $98.00 fill up
Headed to Yellowstone with a load of horses. I'm sure I'll fill again late today and probable Saturday night on the way home.

I have been ignoring my quarterly calendar reminder to drain mine for three weeks. I realized last weekend it had been parked for a month with half a tank of fuel, normally I try to keep it full when it's parked but clearly I forgot. I've driven the truck five times in the past two months and two of those times this week since my daily left me stranded on Wednesday. Needs a new battery, parked it and I'll deal with it when I have time. Diesel was $4.99 last Saturday.

I need to fill mine as well problem is the truck won't get warm enough to get fuel and drive back home. I need a 1/2 tank as well.

$4.75 here in Tulsa

As I understand it Oklahoma and Texas have some of the cheapest fuel in the country.

We’re on our way back from a trip to Maine, pulling our trailer. We have a TSD Fuel card that allows us to fill up at truck stops at a discount. The card has to be tied to a bank acct for direct draw. On the way up I paid generally $4.50 or so / gal on the way up til we got to Maine. Still stupid expensive but saving almost $1 / gal is better than a sharp stick in the eye.
