Hello newbie here was wondering what are the best plugs to put in my truck had platinum motor craft 500 in her are they a good plug or is there better I put a new performance coil on it and have a set of Ngk performance wires .
1995 F150 Xlt 5.0 2wd automatic
I run Ford Racing 9mm wires.
APP24(double platinum) plugs, iridum is a wallet emptier.
Motorcraft coil, cap and rotor.
iridium has a place for vehicles that can better use the properties nicely, but im sure you are just talking about these trucks. yeah copper. I have platinum in right now because advanced auto had NO COPPER PLUGS in stock at night when I had to remove my plugs, and clean the threads and the seats and put new plugs in. Well. #6 is a copper and that plug well never had any issues and i didnt feel like struggling to reach and replace it if it still worked..lol.
Hey Guys Thanks for information my blue streak cap and button came in I watched and navigated my 23 year old son to install Ngk performance wires 8mm Amazon
Tell you What perked that babby right up
I put a blue streak coil on it the plugs that are in it are motorcraft sp 502 set at 0.54 only 20,000 to 45000 miles on them my son's going to pull one check out the quality left on it decide weather to change them I herd platinum tipped copper plugs are great long lasting plugs sp 450 maybe also Amazon lol again thanks again I'm a premium newbie so bare with me was in my dad's blood so here am I.
My truck has a vibration begins at 30 mph 😳 quits at 45 mph 😳 my son and I are trying 😤 to pin point it and can't getting frustrated 😑 😒 😤 😫
Too got another thread on here about that so I'm gunna go look see what if any questions are answered ford blue bloods .
I'm not a fan of the 9mm Ford Racing wires. They are too long and too fat for the factory retaining clips. I did usually just get Motorcraft wires. Do those NGK wires fit well?
In general, if I can get a Motorcraft branded set, that's where I go for plug wires, my second option, honestly, is just to build my own. But I've got the tools and whatnot to do that pretty easily.
Most of the FLAPS grade wires just aren't very good, in my personal experience.

yes awesome fit and notice on wires next to the manifold hot spot have extra heat shield same with coil the length perfect on all and Hou can hear the clips click onto plugs heavy too there each cyclender is numbered on wires maker it easy to install I also noticed power increase from older wires.
