CD4E trans problem
Greetings all, I'm new here, I'm Dave. I'm not sure if I am in the right place, if not please let me know. Ok, I've got a 2008 Escape with the V6 and CD4E transmission. The problem is that once it shifts into second gear it shudders like crazy but once you get it over 2000 rpm it evens out. Had a transmission flush done a couple of days ago, no change. I thought it may have been a sticking solenoid or control valve. Now the same thing is starting to happen in first. I don't know what the two gears have in common. Third and fourth work perfectly. If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated. The last thing I want to happen is for the transmission to fly all to pieces. Thanks in advance for any assistance you may have

DIf I remember correctly you ither get a great C4E or you get a not so great one and they don't last 100k miles. We had 300k on our before the engine had issues and didn't run - trans as still good.
There are several threads on here about these transmissions. I don't think many people repair them.
