Broken Bolt... Help!

We own a 94.5 F250 7.3L Turbo Diesel, the rads thermostat was stuck so my boyfriend was removing it for the time being. He just came inside and informed me he broke a bolt off in the hole the thermostat goes into. There is hey limited room in that area and we fully have access to a welder. What can we do to get that bolt out?

Remove the water pump, might as well replace it if unknown history, add a billet thermostat housing and add anti-seize to the new bolts.

As z31 said just replace the water pump, do not run it without a thermostat it is a dual function thermostat and needs to be there. Also there is a short and long stem options.
me personally I will only install a motorcraft thermostat.
