General 4WD conversion question
Do 4WD conversions of these vans require a solid front axle, or do some have CV axles or a hinged diff axle?
Is the diff offset to the driver side or passenger side or depends on conversion?

I have seen both a solid axle with leaf springs and a TTB with coil springs used for the conversion, most Ford T-case and transmission combos put the output on the drivers side so a drivers side front pumpkin is required.
