4WD Conversion
I am wanting to do a 4wd conversion to a f-100 but need some info on the bronco's front axel first. I do not know what they called the axel but it is like the twin ibeam setup. I need to know distance between backing plates and between the bolts that hold the axel to the frame. Can anyone help??

By the way, the 4wd front axle is called a Twin Traction Beam or TTB and the 2wd axle is called Twin I-Beam or TIB.

If you are going to do the work to convert a vehicle the 4wd, take the time to do it right the first time, find yourself a solid front axel like a dana 44, found under the front of the 78-79 ford broncos, this is the only way to go for this conversion. Do not put TTB in front of that truck, you will regret it.
