Well, about 10 years ago I got booted from a 4X4 forum because I said something about the then current leadership of this nation at the time that somebody didn’t like.
Forums are a private entity and we have to play by their rules, whayever they might be.
You do understand that tampering with federal emissions on vehicles can land you in jail and huge fines. . They may be cracking down on shops and installers now but eventually all the states are gonna start adopting smog and inspections. Next on the list private owners who tamper with vehicles. . People laughed in California until they passed a law and retroactive smog all diesels back to 1999. People were scrambling to get smog equipment installed on their deleted trucks. think it’s not gonna happen where you’re at? Think again. Lots of states that had no smog regulations are now implementing smogs testing.
People think cops are dumb. I have a few friends who are cops and one is a CHP. They all know exactly what to look for and they will write tickets. You can try to fight it out in court.

This is one of the reasons, the main reason I am going to sell my 2012 in a month of so. When I bought it from the dealer, I did not know it was deleted because my 1999 had a 5" exhaust and sounded just like what I bought. Never occurred to me to look under to see if it had a DPF, which at the time I had no idea what it even looked like. I did know the EGR was removed, and it did come with a tuner, but so did my 99. It wasn't until I had it a week or two and had some trips on it that I crawled underneath and looked online what to look for that I found it wa deleted fully.
With how hard the EPA went after suppliers of delete parts and tunes, and the huge fines, and knowing that it wont take much to figure out that it is deleted, that I think I would be better off letting someone else take the risk of having an EPA encounter. truck runs great and has more power than anything other then my Ecoboost has had, but between keeping up with countering the rust, the short bed, and the fact it could land me in a heap of financial trouble if busted, I think it is time to go legit. Great running truk, but the looking over my shoulder whenever I drive it for an EAP sting, yeah, I don't think it is worth the risk, at least not for me, too old for that schiznit.

you should of gone back to the dealer and tell them they need to take the truck back. They can’t sell a vehicle like that. I would also send a letter to your states bureau of automotive repairs and whoever has the oversight over dealerships. In fact I woodl do that anyway. I highly doubt you are the only one who they did it to. Shady dealers tend to keep doig shady things until somebody smacks them
