OMG! the same crappy looking yellow decals are on your controls! I'd always wondered if they were stock, looked too shoddy to be factory, but guess they were!
Anyways... Please tell us what does work and what doesn't. Does the heat work? do you get air from the different vents when you change the controls? And what chey eater was asking. We need a little more to help you get started. If you push the AC button in, does the blue light in the switch come on?

I am wondering if someone installed this because it is all they could find.
there are two completely different AC control. this one, and the more conventional one with a/c, heat, and defroster on the one slider,
heat/cold on the other slider, and the fan switch.
in 92 ford went to the two dials with fan switch.
I am a mechanical dummy. I have an 88 F250 7.3. I was told I need new fan controls for my AC to work. What does that mean? Thanks.
It means someone told you nothing useful. If the blue light comes on but the clutch doesn't activate the first thing I'd check is the refrigerant pressure, if it's very low or empty the clutch won't engage.
