windshield wiper switch

my windshield wipers don't work on my 63 f100. I don't know where this white wire goes, I've checked wiring diagrams but white wire is not listed
any help appreciated

Uninsulated ring terminal and a short wire sure makes it look like a ground wire.

Check continuity between the ring terminal and the metal body of the switch. If there is little or no resistance safe bet it’s a ground.
