If you are having a stall. Getting code p2614 and goto replace your cmp - I’ve seen lot of vids on the change but only one post on the issue.
the bolt on flange sits on a flat part of the block. A small bit of rust can form behind the flange and bump the cmp out a hair and throw you off causing stalls. This **** was driving me crazy bc I could not
get the cmp to go flush.
after much frustration, I got under the truck and angled a light got in just the perfect position to see the entire mounting area and I finally saw it - it was a good size blog if rust 1/16”ish formed behind the flange. Flaked it off w a screwdriver and bang. Truck idles perfect now.
