I'd like to replace the split ribbed/expandible section of the air intake duct on my 1980 six. I haven't been able to find one anywhere so far and was wondering if it could be replaced. I came across this flexible ducting from LMC and thought it might work. Has anyone tried this?
Is it the fresh air or the pre-heat hose you are looking for?
Pre-heat once you have the size dia. should be able to get from any of the local parts stores.
The fresh air I got off Ebay or was it Amazon?
Think it was for a early 80's Jeep with a 4.0 or 4.2 straight six motor.
It is a little long as the carb is on the left side of the motor and think the grille is farther away but it is on there and no one knows its for a Jeep till now.
