I'm hoping someone has done this - I would like to be able to add a switch to either the dash or my left door to be able to disable the power window switch on the right door, but still be able to control it via my switch.
The reason being is the Dog loves to put her head out the window (ONLY at low speeds) and as the top of the door panel is slick, she tends to slide towards the window switch - and the other day as we were going down a side road she did just that and unknown to me, lowered the window all the way down.
Any Ideas? Haven't looked at any schematics yet or probed any wires.

My dog does the same thing in the back seat, I made a couple of metal plates out of some sheet metal that slide over the window switches to prevent her from doing this and they work great, if I want to open the back windows, I can still do it from the front to open and close them as needed to let her stick her head out the window. If I get a chance later today I'll pull one of them and show you what they look like.
What year model and trim package? My 02 XLT CC has that switch already built in. Did they remove that in later years or is it a trim level thing? If it's trim level, the wires for that might be in the harness and you just have to find them. If they removed that entirely, then you'll have to do some wiring..
Instead of messing with the wiring, just use a safety leash. It snaps right into the seatbelt. it's what I use when my dog rides with me, because he loves hanging out the window.. Here's a link. https://www.chewy.com/slowton-adjust...belt/dp/264108

MInes an Extended cab, so no switch - but will look at the wire diagrams to see.
