it's coming out of Chapman ford as well, so I get the 2% off invoice. I wasn't going to take but I figured why not, if I can make money.

The Ford dealer we ordered from had a, I think, '22 F450 King Ranch with 8000 miles on it for $110k... It might've been a '21 though. I really thought about going in and asking what they'd give me for our truck right now.
As for the OP, at least they're trying to make it right. I was terrified that when we went to get ours it wouldn't be what we ordered. While one thing I thought would be there wasn't (which was no ones fault), everything else what good.
The guy above there who said to take the truck and wheel it down the road to the next dealer might have something. You could probably make money on the damn thing right now.

Hopefully they didn't do it to get an extra piece of inventory. Dealers trying to talk customers out of their orders after the order has been placed (offering good deals on lightly used etc) has been pretty common in the current environment...it gives them a free piece of inventory to sell at MSRP or higher. Customers can place orders but dealers are not allowed to.
