Throttle response loss

Has happened 3 times so far. Am not home right now to use a scanner but no engine light is on. I will be driving and stop at a stop light. When I hit the throttle to go there is nothing, just engine idling. Sometimes I can jam the pedal and she'll get movin. Sometimes I put it in Park and go back to Drive and she will move almost like a reset lol. Could this be a Throttle Position Sensor or is this a transmission issue ?
