air bag light
1994 f150 2wd 351 air bag light started flashing and shows code 32 -- can anyone explain to me exactly what i have to check as well as how to check it or is there a way to disable the air bag light itself without compromising any other systems on the truck -- i am not up on electrical terminology so if anyone can help explain the procedures to fix this as if they are talking to a grade schooler it would be greatly appreciated .--- clock spring was changed by the previous owner , cruise control and horn are working. thanks

The air bag is a separate system. I would not assume that the replacement clock spring is any better than the old part. There are diagnostic tests that you can do to test the wiring. Ideally you unplug the air bag and install the air bag simulator to do the testing. If you do not have the ability to diagnose and repair the system then you need to take it to a shop that can. I will not suggest that you drive the truck with the system disabled.

The diagnostic monitor runs diagnostics every time the key is in the run position, and does not store codes. Flashing code means the monitor detected a problem at start up.
