Funny that this came up, I just replaced the clock spring in my 94 F150 air bag code 32, no cruise or horn and I put in a new wiper switch too. You have to pull the wheel and clock spring to do that too. I'll post the link that was most helpful https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...d.php?t=236322
You also need to pop the ignition lock out too, easy job. Turn the key to the run position and push a long #1 or Philly driver into the little pin and pull the lock out. The bolts the hold the clock spring were torx head on mine as were the wiper/turn/hazard switch. If you have delay wipers I recommend replacing the switch at this time as it will go out as many have.
Be careful with the air bag. I left my truck sit for an hour to discharge the back up battery with the + cable removed from the batt and starter relay, this is done to prevent any one from walking past and setting the cable back on the batt. Also do not touch the pins of the air bag connector with anything as this could set it off!
Treat the bag as if it was a land mine!! Set it in a safe place and carry it with the back side away your chest. The metal side will most likely kill you if it go's off!!!
After that its all simple
Tool list
Torx driver/Clock spring,wiper switch
Deep well socket/ for removing the air bag from the wheel
2 thin blade screwdrivers for trim removal and the like
steering wheel puller
skinny Phillips driver #1/Ign lock
#2 Phillip driver/column trim
socket or nut driver/lower dash trim panel
The clock spring cost me around $120 here in WI from the dealer.
PS static electricity is not your friend while handling the air bag, so don't make any balloon animals when doing this job.lol
