Excursion 2000 / 2001 ECU swap

So I have an intermittent issue I am trying to "process of eliminate". Mine is a 2001 V10. I had access to a 2000 V10 and got the ECU, the lock cylinder and key. swapped the ecu & lock cylinder and used the matching key. Turn the key on and Theft light flashes fast. Try to start it cranks no start. Is there something else I need to do or get off the donor Excursion?

The PATS transceiver is mounted at the key ignition area, the key cylinder has nothing to do with PATS signals.

You don't need the receiver above cause you should already have one. Bit you do need the pats module which is under dash in the middle.

Your correct @Tunafish389. Every Excursion has PATs key system so I have the key cylinder sensor. OK will look for that module and get it off the same Ex.
