I recently acquired a parts truck. A 79 f150 lariat with low mile 460, racetrack ,molding, straight tailgate. Overall pretty straight body but rusty truck. It has sat for 20 years next to a hayfield and the sprinklers created a layer of hardwater on it. I had some success with a razor blade scraper on the drivers side window and some of the windshield but it took 3-4 blades. Tried some limeaway which helped a bit. Wondering what else I can use on the glass and racetrack moldings without removing the anodizing. They are actually pretty clear underneath just taking more effort than I expected.

Wow! That hard water coating looks to be a great preservative. If you can discover a non-destructive way to remove it that truck may be in really fine condition and qualify as something more than a parts truck.
Yellow bottle ... SPOT-X ... It is ground up sea shells, just use a damp sponge, put a little of the powder on it, rub in circles. Sea shells are softer that glass, but harder than the build up. It's good for cleaning stainless steel sinks too.

That's what I thought. I tried pressure washing and it got some off the paint. Looking for the trick to clean it up.
