New engine harness no start

So i bought this truck not even a month ago fixed a bunch of problems and replaced even more i put in a new engine harness but when i put my key in to start it no sound nothing its static i arced the cylenoid yesterday and it started i tried today but the starter wouldn't crank so now i don't know where to go so i think there could be a fault between the ignition and starter or somewhere else if someone could point me in a general direction that would be great considering this is my first car and i kind of want to stick it out
its a 1999 f250 superduty 7.3 liter

Bad starter sounds like. First sound like solenoid went out and why you could start by jumping post. Now starter motor out, why it won't crank when jumping post.

im going to replace the starter but what do you think about the ignition not cranking the truck?

I also bought the truck with up gauged wiring on the batteries could they have put upgauged wiring on the alternator cuz now im also getting a low system voltage code
