Cannot open pass door from inside or outside
***NOTE*** I was able to open the door!!! I will double check all the rods are connected correctly.
Hey guys, I did not find what I needed in the search. I have a 1980 F100 I6. I removed the latches and rods to paint the doors. I replaced the latch and rods and installed new outside handle. When I closed the door I was not able to open it. The outside handle does nothing but appears to be hooked up. The inside handle is connected to the rod but doesn't open the door when pulled.
Is there a way to open this door. I was able to remove the door card from the inside so, I have access inside the door to the latch and rods but, still cannot open the door.

The only thing I could think it might be is a rod fell off to the outside handle and the inside is on the wrong part.
You sure the door is not locked?
I see you have a 80 so you have the slider inside locks.
I think it is easy to get the inside handle & lock mixed up.
