1995 E-350 Cab Swap
Greetings from Florida,
I’ve recently purchased a 1995 E-350 15ft box truck with the cab overhang. It has a 7.5L 460 under the hood and a dually Dana rear end. I purchased it with a Certificate of Destruction title under the misconception that I could eventually title it. I just recently found a 1999 E-350 15ft box truck (no overhang) with a blown 5.4 Triton and a clean title. The 1995 is in full working order other than an steering column. My main question is,are these cabs interchangeable and what difficulty’s can I expect if so. This is my first post, I tried to give as much information as I could. If there’s something I missed let me know, all help I greatly appreciated.

You'd be better off financially and time required simply replacing the 5.4 motor with a good quality reman'd unit. There are too many differences between the '95 and '99 preventing an "easy" swap as you describe.

Reverse Certificate of Destruction FL
Damn, I really liked the 7.5L engine though. and the box is the style I was looking for. The 5.4 also sold. Does anybody know a way around my Certificate of Destruction in Florida?

Well it would have to be a cab off a box truck which are harder to find then an ecoline e350. And someone who has a parts ‘95 won’t just sell me the cab with the title. So I’d have to purchase the entire vehicle, then tow.
