So mounted the track bar behind the axle and it definitely fixed th problem so I shortened the ad track bar from 29 in bolt hole to bolt hole centers to 22 1/2 in preheated and welded it back together and then made some brackets out of 1/8 in plate steel and used grade 8 hardware it's a little crude but it works

That's more or less how the factory trac bar if an F350 of your model year would sit as well. 1/8" is hella thin tho I think, on the axle side at least as you're only running single-shear there on that big bolt. Beef it up a bit, and you'll probably never mess with it again till you do your RSK install.

Step bits!!! And lots of cutting oil. Anything larger than 1/2" and I don't touch "proper" drill bit and do it with a step bit instead - those don't tend to stick and grab like normal ones do, and you can make some ridiculous holes with just a battery powered drill.

I was using a Milwaukee cobalt step bit and while I was working I knocked my drill off the work bench onto the concrete floor with that bit in it so had to buy another got it fixed though lol used work at a machine shop the only time you use a proper drill that big is in a lathe or end mill
