I have intermittent drop out with Sirius XM. I shut down for whatever reason, different lengths of time and when I start back up I my Sirius is dead. It shows up in Sources but does not respond to inputs. It may come back after one key cycle, it may take 3 or 4 or maybe if it sits over night. I'm leaning toward it being a B&O issue since I don't have that problem in my other vehicles with aftermarket stereos and SXM.
Anybody else seeing this problem?
Juts go into the SYNC settings and do a Master Reset.
This does the same as a battery disconnect without the hassle.
If the problem continues, make sure that your SYNC system is up to date by going to the Owner.Ford.com website to check via your VIN#.
If there are no updates available, you might have an APIM issue so a trip to your dealer to confirm this will be required.
I have the opposite problem. I have let it expire and now on every restart they are trying to sell me that garbage. I will have to re-up my Forscan acct so I can remove it permanently and completely. There are way better options than SXM
