@F100supercrew Great information! I have the same shifter, when you measured to cut the hole did you take the measurements from the mounting bracket or the shifter itself? Does it matter what gear it it is? When you put the boot on did you unscrew the **** to get the boot on the shifter?

Keep it in park roll carpet out and mark shift stick or measure to stick cut round hole like in picture------do you have round boot or rectangle boot---
Take shift **** off ( DO NOT MOVE LOCK NUT ) -- count turns when taking off put boot on then ready to put **** back on

OK then do not make the round hole to large -- do like it is in the picture can always make it bigger --after all installed and **** back on see how the shift works smooth and button works correct--
