Hey fellas Im in the process of reviving this old E150. 300 enigine carbureted runs and drives well. There’s a few issues I have so forgive me for the problem vomit. Lacking dash lights, horn, radio, and cigarette lighter. Figured this was fuse 9 but it appears to be receiving voltage. There’s some loose and severed wires around the fuse box. Also have this weird control center above head with only one working switch.(lit up). The guy who had this before me did a lot of electrical upgrades so I’d like to complete and tie up these loose ends. Thanks for all the help. Random dangling wire labeled 79? Severed fuse wire Wired red wire that cuts into orange passanger side firewall. Above control center with single working switch? Radio before being removed In the back of the van. Think this may be operated by auxiliary power. The van had a battery in the rear as well. More overhead lights Overhead lights
Try to remove all the additional wiring that the previous owner installed
Use the factory wires (what's left of them) and go from there
Your illumination wire is light blue with pink or red (start there) it goes all over starting at the headlamp switch
Possibly upgrade the fuse panel
Those old ones sometimes short out behind where they bolt together at the bulkhead (we used to take them apart and remove the burnt wire
then run a new wire thru where the burnt one was removed.

Fix one circuit at a time and use a junkyard harness for wire (so you get some of the correct colors)
This wiring mess seems to be in a conversion van of some making, whether former owner of one of the cookie cutter versions rampant during the 80's.
I'd start with an original EVTM or "book of schematics" that are sometimes found on eBay in gently used condition---you could use that to correct any problems with the factory wiring. If this is a cobbled up mess from a previous owner or a slip shod converter that's another issue not so easily solved without seeing it all in person.
