I bought this truck in 2020 with 154,000 miles - runs great. Had just two issues. The 4X4 auto does not work, i have to manually lock the hubs. And, under a heavy load the AC will go from dash vent to defrost vent. This would only occur when towing a trailer but recently it got worse, now it happens with any serious acceleration.
Also, a couple months ago the cruise control stopped working.
The cruise light does not come on when i select or set cruise control.
As all these systems are vacuum controlled I'm wondering if there might be a common link?
I'm getting ready to hand it over to a mechanic but if anyone has any suggestions for what to check first I'd be grateful.

Vacuum leak. Check the PVH solenoid, they tend to get cracked cases and leak.

Could be any of a number a things except vacuum. Speed control is all electrical.
What engine is the truck equipped with? Circuits are different...
