I have a 95 F-150 XL and I’m having a really hard time finding nice non-power plastic mirrors with the chrome caps off a 92-93 for it. I had the idea just to take mine apart and swap the caps for chrome ones, and also repaint the rest of the mirrors black again since they’re all faded. There are 4 torx screws that hold the caps on but they’re behind the glass, does anybody know how to take these mirrors apart? These are the mirrors mine currently has.
