I have a 1997 F350 133" WB 4x4 with 7.5L and 4R100 Tranny. I am working on the rear drum brakes and have run across a small thing that I am not sure of. There is a spring located between the outside of the parking brake lever and the inside of the flat washer for the Parking brake lever bolt. I am trying to find a good drawing of this and the one that I have found shows the spring inside of the parking brake lever instead of outside. I am trying to determine which is correct and also, where I can get one of these springs so the part number will help if it is on the drawing.
I have attached a pic with a red arrow pointing to the spring that I am referencing.
