Hey guys
i bought a 96 F250 and the seven pin trailer plug has been removed. I bought a harness from etrailer but can’t find the old wiring harness on the truck. There are two plugs hanging near the back bumper. Is that where the factory trailer harness plugged into? Can’t believe that I would have to cut into a factory harness and splice wires for this to work. Thanks for the help.
Those two plugs are for the trailer wiring if I remember right. You can go to a junk yard and pull off a factory 7 pin harness or you can probe the wires and just wire yours in solid.
