Trailer Harness Plug
Hey guys
i bought a 96 F250 and the seven pin trailer plug has been removed. I bought a harness from etrailer but can’t find the old wiring harness on the truck. There are two plugs hanging near the back bumper. Is that where the factory trailer harness plugged into? Can’t believe that I would have to cut into a factory harness and splice wires for this to work. Thanks for the help.

that is probably the location. has been for years. The harness they sold you will not plug in there?
When you bought the 7 pin, did you enter your truck/model/year?
You could try the parts dept. at your ford dealer and see if they can look up the wiring and maybe that will tell you too.
