Ok unless you have a specific need you can get by with 35s on the stock suspension.

Really I would add a 1 inch under spring spacer, 1 degree caster shim, and shocks of choice. You need wider wheels for the 12.50.

That shouldn’t screw things up too bad. If you are having squatting issues put the 17-19 rear blocks in.

Thats an option and there is dozens of others….

Many people here, myself included, run 12.50's on the stock wheels with no problem at all. I did on my last truck for about 70K miles and went through two sets

You can run some taller 295/60/20 such as the Yokohama g015, 285/65/20, 295/65/20. People run the 35x12.50x20 on the stock wheels but they aren’t rated for it. I think the 295/65/20 looks stuffed on the 20+ trucks as they lowered them front and back.

Personally I would do as I posted in the last post and sell the stock wheels and run a 20x9 with 0 to +18 offset with 35x12.50. It doesn’t deviate off stock geometry much at all and shouldn’t need any attention to the rear unless you are hauling heavy (and in that case leave the suspension stock).

Edit: that would be the most cost effective option and pose less issues if you want to run a 35x12.50 and dont have a specific use such as running across a desert etc. If you have any bump steer add in a good steering stabilizer.

there’s ways around that.

airbags for heavy loads is one way. Yes it’s something you might want to add if you get the unloaded truck being closer to level than stock. But if you’re complaining about spending money adding parts to a truck then you’re correct…the best option is to leave it stock and just drive it.

I just can’t leave well enough alone sometimes. So my trucks always end up with some kind of lift but they’re still great working trucks and I’m happier with it because it’s just what I want.

my 1500 ram was a smaller truck so I went with a 6” lift and it worked fine as a 1/2 ton truck still. And I was happy…it was a sharp looking truck. My current super duty started off a lot bigger so I’ve only added a 2” bds level kit to it. To eliminate the rear squat I also added a 1.5” higher rear block (since the 20+ has such a small block to begin). So I ended up with a little more ride height and only eliminated about 1/2” of rake. Happ with the results as it sits better but not nose high either.

Lots of people like to modify cars and trucks….and they like to have some fun with their trucks. Doesn’t mean it’s all doom and gloom like you’re alluding to. I never get why some people get so upset with other guys missing their own trucks. If you were truly happy with yours then why would you care what another guys doing to begin?

Looks Like solid advice. I drive pipeline water and sewer job sites. So the ground clearance and all terrain tires would help. I just put a ranch hand bumper on it which got rid of the cheap plastic hanging low in the front. I also drive 200-300 miles some days so I’m not interested in a crappy ride.

I’m still young enough to want to do this but old enough to know the problems that comes along with it. Lol.

This is my first ford in a while. My blue print on dodges was thuren soft ride coils, bilstein 5100’s, sulastic shackles on the back. Gave me a level, smooth ride, with no towing capacity loss. I had on board air and bags on one truck. It worked great. I’m not interested in going that far on this one.

Just want bigger tires and a little more ground clearance. The factory tires are just now worn out so I’m ready.

I would expect that to be nose high, is it not?. With only around 2.5" or less of rake stock, I would expect the Carli springs, at 3.5" of lift, to make the front high without doing anything to the rear height.

It was just barely nose high. Almost hard to even tell if it wasn’t perfectly on level ground. After I installed the airbags and keep them at 5psi, it sits just right, maybe 1/2” high in the rear.

Carli level with airbags @ 5psi

Carli level front, stock rear

I want to level my 2021 F250 lariat. I’m going to keep the stock wheels and put 12.5x35’s on it.

I use the truck for construction and am frequently off road in Texas mud. I want a better ride and don’t want all the steering issues that come with changing the suspension.

Here’s how I’d like to do this but need help with parts selection. I want new springs not a spacer. I want bilstein shocks. I’ve seen that you need a track bar relocator or an adjustable track bar and need sway bar extensions. Does someone sell those items without the shocks? What else should I take into account to do this properly?

Any advice is appreciated.
I went 1.5” to avoid having to go with adjustable track bar. Worked great. I did have it aligned, including the caster setting, for good measure. Drives like stock. I used Fox shocks but you cant go wrong with Bilstein.

Yeah I have used Thuren before. Good stuff.

You mention the ranch hand and you may even consider 1.5”. As mentioned anything above that on the 2020+ needs trackbar attention.

Unless you are hammering on the front springs up and down I believe the stock springs are more than up to the task.

Not sure who lied to you and told you it was hard to tell. Lol, That second picture is 100% noticeably nose high. Bags definitely helped out and it looks good now.

Carli Commuter with Front Sway Bar. 35x12.50R18's, +18 offset wheels, King single steering stabilizer, Helwig rear Sway Bar. Still has a slight rake. Drives and tows excellent.
