on my 88 f150, it has the original cat and o2 sensor. should i delete the cat is there a performance gain?
Don’t delete it. As 85e150 has already stated, if the converter is clogged the only gain you would have is back to the way it would be with a new part. Replace it with a stock replacement if you still have the air injection system or use a modern high flow if you don’t.
