Hello patriots, residents and visitors of the last best place. Recently I discovered that my wife had decorated her car with a flag, so I had to go out and get a couple to put on mine. I really like how these turned out.
Morning Sailor ! WOW ! That's some MAJOR damage. Is it even worth it to repair ? What year/brand RV is it ? I'll be sure to advise anyone else to beware of those ! What's the other side look like ?

The other side is fine..... The damage is due to a roof leak and poor maintenance of the seals around the slide out.
Appears to worth the expense of repairing....... They are paying me to repair it. my bill will be less than half what the RV joints wanted to charge.
Howdy Kettles and Pots..... Patriots and Cowboys....
Pretty day in Montana.... blue sky. A wee bit hazy.... 64°F.... 24% humidity.... 15 mph winds.....
LOD: Work on the TT.... (Lynn's Orders of the Day) I asked her what I should do today???? I already knew the answer.....
Nice church service..... I was the big screens display person today..... I wanted to show Road Runner & Coyote cartoons......
Already 1320 hrs.... I should get going soon.... I do need to accomplish some progress today. Need to get this TT Project completed so I can tackle other projects.
Evening Montana and RV rebuilder Roy. I second the "Take it easy!" and careful on them ladders!
Again Teach Theresa all you can about real world skills! She will her a strong lady in the near future with a future.
The damage looks to be extensive but on second look, not really that bad.
I would fault the RV manufacturers for damage around slide outs. In the years of RV'ing I have come to realize they either haven't really figured out slideouts and seals or they really don't care and and just throw them together! I have yet to see any slide out with really good construction, seals open or closed or proper water runoff or mitigation!
Most of the manufactures don't care about quality...... Just profit.
I have had to do major structure repairs on mine and the Montana is a premium rated 5th wheel.......
Here are some pictures of repairs I made to every joint at the sill / stud joints. Bottom of the walls. 1" x 2" soft alum studs and sill plate. Only one side welded instead of at least two sides. Many of those welds were broken. Like toe nailing a 2x4 wood stud to the 2x4 wood sill with only one nail. Realize a 5th wheel goes through an earthquake and a hurricane when traveling down the lousy roads.
Coffee is sure good this morning.... 0530 alarm that got snoozed..... Feet hit the deck 7 mins later....
0700 - 1530 work day at the Orange Store....... I will be in the Plumbing Dept today. Going to be a long day for this old sailor....
Weather gave us some rain last night.... forecast is for some more this afternoon/evening.
Have fun today Rod...... Make a bunch of sandwiches....
