I am glad we don't get Tornados here in Great Falls.....
When I was stationed at NATTC Millington TN (Just north of Memphis TN) I remember the Tornados... I was not fond of Tornados and Cotton Mouth snakes......
I once bought a car from Northern Virginia. Took it to NY and was cleaning the leaves off the cowl area, found a little about 18" Copperhead. Good thing it was cold out so that guy wasn't moving very fast.
Fantastic Friday evening Montana, Roy, Bud, George, Tim and all the Cowboy Crew. 70° and rain most all day but nice just the same. I have been out in the rain and soaked twice today and it wasn't cold. OH and we haven't had ant Nader juice in my woods from the weather!
As for Snakes, Blacksnakes are welcome until you start robbing the eggs and then it has to go! I don't fear copperheads or eastern diamond backs or rattlers in general.
Cottonmouths need to be exiled! Don't like them!
Side note; Once in Yellowstone park we dropped DD off for a 4 hour trail ride into the hills. Becky and I went to an overlook of a valley one direction and falls the other direction. It was about 300yds walk from the parking area past the giftshop slash hamburger and hotdog shop combined in one building. As you walked past the was the bathrooms and you passed them was a 2 level slopped flower bed. On the way back from the falls and passing the flower bed I herd the noise! Becky said what is it and I said Rattler in the flower bed. We walked about 10 feet and told one of the park rangers and he freaked out and started blocking off the area. He called for another ranger and went hunting. Well we didn't leave and they found it. They were talking about how big it was and I laughed. It wouldn't equal a day old eastern diamond back. It couldn't have been more than 15-18 inches.
