Hello y'all, I have a 94 f150 5.0 extended cab 2wd. Do anyone know where I can get the black circle leaf springs insulators that go in-between the spring leaves that fit my truck ? And what would cause springs to move side to side inside shackles. I thought fixing my differential would stop the clunks, it stopped some of it but not all. My springs clunks, claps, when ever I turn or rear tire are uneven. I took my spare tire and bracket off so it's not that .. when I first got the truck 2 yrs ago the bottom thick leaf were sides ways both sides, I knocked them back under the pack
any help greatly appreciated.
Sliding inside shackles, if you're talking about the main leaf with the eyes, that's a worn our bushings problem there.
Other leaves going cooked on you and not staying inline with the mains, that's a U-bolts issue mostly, along with missing steel ties/guides on one one of the lower leaves probably. Might have a cracked leaf too. Buy yourself some new U-bolts and washers and nuts, drop the old ones, loosen up leaves from axle and investigate.
