Front Driveshaft Rubs after RC 4" lift. Options?
New-to-me truck, and man oh man does the front driveshaft rub on the transmission crossmember when placed into 4x4. Is there any aftermarket transmission crossmembers for these trucks? I've searched a ton with no luck. It seems the aftermarket scene for these pickups is slim to none. I might either just check the front pinion angle and attempt to fix it, or just take the crossmember out and weld a slot out of 1/4" steel. My pickup is a 90' F250 with 4x4 the 5 speed.

You may have to make a spacer that will go between the frame and crossmember to allow it to drop an inch or so below the frame.
Only lifted 250 i dealt with was a 2wd converted to a 4x4 solid axle. So i had to make a crossmember from scratch.
It was like a 6 inch lift and i think i had to drop the rear of the trans 2 inches to make it right.
