BD shift solenoid
What are the BD shift solenoid thoughts on a transmission at about 100k. Bought the truck at 80k and did fluid and about to do fluid and filter but was wondering about these since I’m taking it apart anyway. Looks easy but never done it so was wondering if these are worth it.
im tuned btw with medium pressure TCM tune so I’m not sure if this will help preserve this for a little while longer. Not noticing any issues though.

I installed the solenoid on my trans when i did the filter and oil service. There was some noticeable changes, i had a 2 to 3 hard shift during light throttle. truck would also slip a little when you would let off the throttle coming to a stop and getting back on the throttle lightly. The solenoid corrected those issues but it definitely doesn’t turn the truck into a race truck. The truck is deleted and tuned with a mild tune and has 135,000 and a 2011. In my opinion it worth the 125 dollars the truck will feel smoother.

Does this help clean up clunky shifts in regular/daily driving (unloaded), or is it best to use for heavy duty use only?
My truck around 92k miles. Shifts are still pretty smooth but sometimes can feel clunky shifting up under light throttle.
