I'm getting ready to work on my 69 f100 lwb and I will be converting it to power steering along with disk brakes and I would like to do a hydro boost swap but since my truck never came with power steering I have to start from scratch. Does anyone have recommendations on a kit or what can be put together to make it work.
I Already have the power steering column and steering box just need a pump and bracket that would work. Engine is a 302. I plan on using the super duty hydro boost
Any 302/351W pump will work. Later ones might have metric connectors. Best would be an Econo 302/351W Saginaw "canned ham" pump. Find it at the JY or Ebay.
Edit: here you go from Jeff's Bronco Graveyard: https://shop.broncograveyard.com/GM-...uctinfo/12846/
Would the bracket be the same or do I need a 302 bracket Isnt the 351 wider? If it's the same then I know there is a 79 f100 with a 351 at my local junkyard.
Should be any long nose Econo from 75 to the start of the mod motors. Check the price of a new pump, and a reman pump vs. the price of the complete new kit from JBG.
