What about the axle out of a 2005+ 2wd F450/550? This overpriced POS is for sale up the road but I noticed it has coil front suspension...I guess they all did starting in 2005.

I don't know. It would be cool if your existing stock coils would work with that axle!

Let me ask another stupid question since this seems to be the all things 2wd front end thread: does that front sway bar really need to be there? Like is it a dangerously bad idea to delete it? It comes my attention today mines messed up...probably from a mild front-ender to the driver's side the truck was in before I was unlucky enough to own it. The driver's side bracket is bent and you can grab the sway bar and move it around easily on the driver's side. Passenger side appears to be in better condition with less or no play but those transmission cooling lines are also concerningly tight against the sway bar to where I have some runs of vacuum line I slit up the side and wrapped around them to prevent them from rubbing through. (somebody put me out of my misery with this thing...) You can see from the picture the messed up driver's side bracket. Should all of it be replaced or all of it just deleted? The drop link on the driver's side even looks crooked compared to the passenger side. On another note I'm going back to the Spicer non-greaseable ball joints when these are shot. Those greaseable ones make such a doggone mess.

Twin I Beam suspensions starting in 1964 never had sway bars and I believe they became optional in 77-79 sometime. Don't take that as gospel. I'd remove an end link (doesn't matter which side) and drive it....see if you can live without it.

May try that first. I saw on Rock Auto Dorman makes the bushing/brackets and the two end links aren’t expensive. The bar itself doesn’t look bent.
